Payment for Services

Payment for cleaning services is due in full at time of service.


     Me, My Mop and I gladly accept payment in the following forms:

We accept credit cards through Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account). If you choose this option, we will send you an invoice through email where you click on the link to take you to a secure server to complete your transaction.  We appreciate a credit card payment withn 24 hours of cleaning.

We also accept cash and personal checks. Please make checks payable to Me, My Mop and I. Please leave cash or check on kitchen counter along with any notes you might have for us.
 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please provide at least 24 hours notice for all cancelled appointments. Once we take a reservation, we hold that time slot open for you and turn away other potential customers in order to ensure your timeframe. If for any reason we need to cancel, we will extend the same courtesy.

We do not share the information gathered through this web site or any personal information with any other 3rd party.

Extra Services

If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time needed at your home and if necessary, we can give you a quote for the additional services.

FAQ's

What can I do before the cleaners arrive?

Our staff will do general straightening, but the best way to prepare to have your house cleaned is to pick up toys or clutter. This will save us time and ensure that we don't miss anything.

Who will be coming to my home to clean?

We work very hard to ensure the same person cleans your home each time, so you will feel comfortable knowing your home is being taken care of by someone who knows it well.

Do I have to be home when you clean?

Almost all of our clients either give us a key or hide one outside. Some clients will leave a door unlocked, are already home, or come home to let us in. You can do whatever is most comfortable for you. Be assured if you give us a key, it will not be labeled on our keychain.

What if I forget the cleaners are coming?

For your convenience we can call the day before to remind you. If you provided us with a key to your house, it will be no problem. If you do not provide a key or another access and our staff is unable to get in, a $15 lock-out fee will be invoiced.

What if an item is broken in my home?

While we are all extremely careful with your possessions, accidents can happen. If any damage/loss does occur, we will leave you a detailed note of what happened. If you notice something broken/damaged, please notify us at once. If you have something that is of particular importance or value, please point it out to our staff ahead of time.

Do you bring your own supplies?

We bring our own vacuum, mop, extended duster and cleaning formulas. If there is anything specific you'd like us to use we ask that you supply it for us.

Do I have to sign a contract?

There are no contracts. You may cancel your service at any time.

How do you deal with pets?

Almost all of our clients have either a dog, cat or sometimes both. We love animals and as long as they are friendly, they don't bother us. We even let some of our client's dogs outside while we clean if requested.

What if my cleaning day falls on a holiday?

If your cleaning falls on a holiday please call early to reschedule.
